01/25/25 – LWRA QRP – 09:00 am – 12:00 pm – Simmers-Young Park – 339 American Spirit Rd., Winter Haven, FL – Talk-in on the WC4PEM repeater system – This month’s get together will feature the return of the “Big Dogs on the Porch Cafe” with brats, hot dogs, and hamburgers near the end of the QRP. Tailgate Tech also returns this month with a focus on 10 meter operations – Brign out your gear and set up a station, or come out and see the stations other radio amateurs set up and enjoy the camaraderie of amateur radio. These are fun events and well worth attending.
02/07/25 thru 02/09/25 – Hamcation 2025 – If you can’t make it to Xenia, OH for Hamvention, the absolute next best swap is Hamcation. All the major manufacturers are there such as Icom, Yaesu, Kenwood, Flex Radio, Elecraft, and others will be there. Ham radio vendors such as Ham Radio Outlet, Gigaparts, DX Engineering, and others will be there. Hams travel from all over to attend this wonderful event! Click here for more information.
