Polk County Amateur Radio Clubs:
Lake Wales Repeater Association (LWRA) is a group of folks from all walks of life with one common interest, Amateur Radio. The meetings are held at 7pm at the Lake Wales Fire Station 1, 253 W Central Ave, Lake Wales, FL 33853. The club's K4LKW UHF repeater can be found on 442.425+ MHz with a 127.3 PL. The K4LKW VHF repeater is on 147.330+ with a 127.3 PL. The club also sponsors VE testing on the first Saturday of each month. For more information about the LWRA, visit https://lwra.us
Lakeland Amateur Radio Club (LARC) meets on every second Monday of each month at 7pm at Parkview Baptist Church, 509 E. Parkview Place, Lakeland, FL 33801. The club's K4LKL VHF repeater can be found on 146.685+ MHz with a PL tone of 127.3. The club also sponsors VE testing at 5:30pm at the same location on the second Monday of every month.
